Abyss / Musket PvP Build
Season 4
Hope you enjoy this janky combo that I didn't even think would work. Musket great axe is fast, has big damage, area control, mobility and and some of the best lifesteal you can get.
I really enjoyed this one!
Check out a video guide with gameplay for this build!
My stats are weird because my gear sucks! Ideally I would have nothing in STR. 100 DEX is also a great option that will keep your current great axe damage but boost Musket damage further, this requires dropping points from FOC or CON however. Always run at least 350 INT on this build or damage will notably suffer.

Equipment
Crippling Reap or Mending Execute are amazing options for The Abyss.
That Musket is perfect (maybe change to Void Attunement). Accelerating Traps is my preference due to that huge speed boost.
Shirking heals is not needed for this build thanks to all the lifesteal, but I always recommend more healing power in PvP. Aversion / Vigor / Refreshing / Shirking Heals are my armor perks of choice. Crippling Reap and Criplling Powder Burn would be great here too!
Tumblers are a huge source of healing, so I recommend this for light armor.
The amulet would ideally have Thrust Protection with the two shirking perks. The ring is great, could swap Keen for Void Damage. The earing would be great with Regenerating instead of Refreshing!
As always use the best food you can find, honing stones, and health / mana / regeneration. Of course remember to use the desert sunrise drink to give you more DOT resistance!
Active Skills
Great Axe
Reap - 4/4 Upgrades
The pull from reap is a great tool for pulling people into your traps / bombs. Does quite a lot of damage too. Crippling Reap can add even more utility.
Execute - 3/3 Upgrades
If someone steps in your trap execute becomes much easier to land. Heavy into execute can kill people from ~60% health too! Mending Execute is a must have to add that huge heal.
Charge - 3/3 Upgrades
GRIT and long range make this perfect for attacking or defending. Can deal quite a lot of damage as well.
Musket
Powder Burn - 3/3 Upgrades
As an INT based musket that fights closer up powder burn is the most effective long ranged option. Adds a ton of utility with the Crippling Powder Burn perk!
Sticky Bomb - 3/3 Upgrades
Fantastic synergy with Reap, easy to land if someone steps in a trap and massive damage that can stack with other combos. Also adds to musket’s zoning capabilities!
Traps - 4/4 Upgrades
Accelerating Traps makes you the fastest thing on the battlefield, a must have. Great for controlling and zoning people out. Massive lifesteal to add durability. Easy to setup huge combos if anyone steps in a trap!
